It’s crazy to think that last October we thought we might be having a party this weekend.  When we made the decision in January to punt the party to April that seemed like it was going to be enough time to get things “back to normal”.  At least back to being able to hang out in a small enclosed space with 70 of your closest friends.  Normal rational people would probably just say, we’ll skip having a party in 2021, but we don’t seem to fall into the category.  And without a party to plan, we have very little to talk about. Most importantly we miss y’all!
One thing  we don’t want to do is throw a party that flops.  The number one way to have a party flop is to not have any guests.  With that we want to reach out to you, our valued guests, and get a sense of your comfort level and/or desire to go ahead and move it to the fall (I don’t want to try to manage summer plans).  We decided to go the mass email way to allow you to express your opinions on large gatherings privately, since it’s such a political hot topic.

  1. Hey guys!
While we would definitely go for April 24th because we miss everyone so much, if we wait till September, everyone will likely feel more comfortable and you can likely expect a better turn out!
But if April 24th wins, we’ll be there!

  2. I am fortunate that I gave received both my vaccines but realize that many may not have theirs by April. I believe September will hopefully be safer for everyone.
    Miss everyone!
