- 1 pound ground sausage, at room temperature
- 2 cups biscuit baking mix- we used Bisquick’s Gluten Free variety. (You might consider starting with 11/2 cups and adding more in as needed. I think these were actually a little dry.
- 1 pound share Cheddar Cheese Shredded.
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Combine the sausage and biscuit mix in a large bowl. Mix until well combined. I got much better results with my food processor rather than just doing this by hand.
3. Add shredded cheese and mix until fully incorporated.
4. Roll mixture into walnut-size balls (makes about 30). Place on baking sheet.
5. Bake in preheated oven until they are golden brown and the sausage is cooked through. 20-25 minutes.
